What a $500 small business website includes

Pricing · October 2, 2026 · Neighborhood Web Co.

"How much does a website cost?" is the first question most business owners ask, and the answers online range from free to five figures. Here's exactly what our $500 Starter package covers, so there are no surprises.

What's included

  • 1 to 3 pages. Usually home, about or services, and contact.
  • Designed for phones first. Most of your visitors will be on a phone, so that's where we start. It looks sharp on desktop too.
  • Contact form and click-to-call. Customers can reach you in one tap.
  • Search basics. Page titles, descriptions, and business details set up so Google understands what you do and where.
  • Domain and hosting setup. We connect everything and launch it for you.
  • 2 rounds of revisions. You review the site and we make your changes.

What costs extra

Some features take more time to build and are quoted separately: online stores, booking systems, blogs, and sites with more than three pages. If you need more pages plus a logo and brand colors, our Growth package covers that.

What you'll pay after launch

Your domain name (like yourbusiness.com) renews once a year, typically about $15 to $20 depending on the registrar. We'll tell you the exact amount up front, and we'll walk you through any optional care plan for hosting and small updates before you commit to anything.

How payment works

Half up front to start, half when your site goes live. You'll see a free homepage mockup before you pay anything, so you know the direction before you commit.

Is $500 enough for a real website? For most local businesses that need a clean, professional presence, yes. The goal isn't a huge site. It's a fast, clear one that answers customers' questions and gets your phone ringing.
